Kitty condo!

Studio craft of the week:

Mistoffelees' new house started off being an empty chips box. I really liked the perforated lid-top and envisioned a "roof" she could have fun jumping in and out of.

I tried a few different "hinge" designs but simplest often works best. I just took long strips of tape and taped the edges of the lid and box together. I made sure to re-enforce it with extra tape.












Now the fun part...I covered the entire thing in paper and drew all over it.












I stuffed the new condo with Mistoffelees' favorite blanket and toys. I had just gotten a new catnip toy from The Willow Goose in the shape of a dead bird -- I enjoyed the irony of placing a dead bird at her door-step.
